Join us for a delightful field trip to United World College (UWC) near Las Vegas, New Mexico. The President of the college, Lisa Darling, has invited CIR members and Santa Fe students for a visit to the UWC campus. During the visit, we will:
- Hear about the vision of the Armand Hammer Foundation that established the Montezuma Campus.
- Learn about the International Baccalaureate degree and curriculum projects.
- Have discussions with UWC faculty and students from countries around the world and learn about the success of UWC graduates.
- Have a wonderful tour of one of “America’s Treasures,” the famous Montezuma Castle.
Participation is limited to 20 CIR members and 10 students from Santa Fe area schools.
Bus departure time: 9:00 am. Return time is about 4:30.
Departure Location: boarding for the bus will be at the parking lot in front of
Albertson’s and OfficeMax at the intersection of St. Francis and Zia.
Cost: $20.00 includes both transportation and lunch.
