Special events include briefings, lectures and social events that fall outside of our other, regularly scheduled activities.  They may include a dinner lecture by a visiting ambassador, a briefing by an international negotiator, or a social summer picnic.

This special event offers an opportunity for the CIR to thank the many outstanding volunteers who have made our programs possible by sharing their expertise and time to further our mission of “engaging the community in world affairs.” We are pleased to have Bill Stewart, known to all, present his thoughts on the new administration’s plans for “re-engaging” the world.” Details will follow.

The trip starts in Buenos Aires on January 10th.  The end date depends on which option you choose.
