Your Membership Includes:

  • Tax-deduction in the amount of your membership

Membership categories:

CIR offers five levels of membership plus a special discount for teachers.  Students can attend most events free of charge.
The levels start at “Member” with higher membership levels for those who wish to contribute more to our programs.
The levels are:

  • Member $40 individual, $60 family -
  • Diplomat(individual or family) $150 ($125 tax-deductible) -

    • Includes all basic Membership benefits, PLUS

    • Two passes to International Lecture Series
    • Acknowledgement in the CIRcular
  • Statesman(individual or family) $300 ($255 tax-deductible) -

    • Includes Diplomat benefits, PLUS

    • Two passes to World Affairs Discussion luncheons or dinners
    • Preferred seating at speaker’s table during World Affairs Discussion luncheons and dinners (on a space-available basis)
  • Consul(individual or family) $500 ($355 tax-deductible) -

    • Includes all Stateman benefits, PLUS

    • Four passes to International Lecture Series (6 total)
    • Invitation to private receptions with event speakers
  • Secretary – (individual or family) $1,000 ($755 tax-deductible)

    • Includes all Consul benefits, PLUS

    • Four additional passes to International Lecture Series (10 total)
    • Reserved and preferred seating to all lectures
    • Seating with speaker at Special Events
    • Invitations to Secretary-level social events
  • Teacher (Full-time K-12) $10 individual, $40 family -

    • Note that an individual membership provides benefits to only the named member; a family membership provides benefits to the two named individuals.

    How to Join/Renew:

    To join CIR or renew your membership:

    • Mail a membership application with a check to the CIR Office
    • Call the CIR Office and provide your membership and credit card  information to the office staff
    • Pay with Visa or Mastercard using this website
